Eau Claire, WI
Don't miss this event! Gather up the family and come
join us for family fun and a great speaker! This year
Friends of Adoption will be holding their first Annual
Fall Conference. The conference will be held on October
3rd at the Metropolis Hotel and Waterpark, located next
to Action City in Eau Claire, WI. This event will feature
Patricia Dischler as the keynote speaker. Patricia is
the author of several books that focus on open adoption
and childcare. She has written the book, Because
I Loved You: a Birthmother’s View on Open Adoption.
Patricia will be sharing her personal story and share
the importance of open adoption. Come learn how your
child's beginnings affect who they are and how you can
support them in building a strong, positive self-image.
Hear from a birthmother's perspective how adoptive parents
have the power to overcome fears and negativity in adoption
and set the standard for their child's view of being
adopted. Learn the elements of a successful open adoption.
Overcome fears to build trust and respect for your child's
birth family and see the positive ripple it sends throughout
your own family. Learn what it is that birthmother's
want most and what your child needs from both families.
Don’t miss this one! A great family weekend, and
truly an inspirational story that you won’t want
to miss. More information will be out soon!
