ADOPTION
RESOURCES OF WISCONSIN (ARW)
A network designed to provide support, training, education and services
to families who have adopted children with special needs. Some services
provided include finding families for children; pre-adoption information
and referral; training for families and professionals; advocacy
for children and families; family resource centers; and post-adoption

BIRTH TO THREE
Provides family-centered services including education, service coordination
and therapy for children between birth and three years of age who
demonstrate a developmental delay or have a diagnosed condition
which may cause a delay. For more information, or to locate the

Formerly the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse, Child
Welfare Information Gateway provides access to information and resources
to help protect children and strengthen families. This is an excellent
first step in a search for information.

LEAGUE OF AMERICA (CWLA)
A non-partisan, non-profit association of more than 1,000 agencies
and organizations that advocate for more than two million abused,
neglected, abandoned, and otherwise vulnerable children and their
families throughout the United States. Families and children are
served through numerous programs supported by the CWLA. In addition,
the CWLA provides education and training to parents and professionals
and is a resource for publications regarding parenting, foster care,
special needs adoption, and various other topics related to children.

NORTH AMERICAN
COUNCIL ON ADOPTABLE CHILDREN (NACAC)
The NACAC is a coalition of parent support groups, adoption professionals
and child advocates that believes that every child had a right to
a permanent family. In addition, they are a resource for publications
