ADOPTION RESOURCES OF WISCONSIN (ARW)
A network designed to provide support, training, education and services to families who have adopted children with special needs. Some services provided include finding families for children; pre-adoption information and referral; training for families and professionals; advocacy for children and families; family resource centers; and post-adoption services. BIRTH TO THREE
Provides family-centered services including education, service coordination and therapy for children between birth and three years of age who demonstrate a developmental delay or have a diagnosed condition which may cause a delay. For more information, or to locate the Birth to Three center nearest you, please contact the Department of Children and Families at 800-642-STEP (7837).

CHILD WELFARE INFORMATION GATEWAY
Formerly the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse, Child Welfare Information Gateway provides access to information and resources to help protect children and strengthen families. This is an excellent first step in a search for information.

CHILD WELFARE LEAGUE OF AMERICA (CWLA)
A non-partisan, non-profit association of more than 1,000 agencies and organizations that advocate for more than two million abused, neglected, abandoned, and otherwise vulnerable children and their families throughout the United States. Families and children are served through numerous programs supported by the CWLA. In addition, the CWLA provides education and training to parents and professionals and is a resource for publications regarding parenting, foster care, special needs adoption, and various other topics related to children. NORTH AMERICAN COUNCIL ON ADOPTABLE CHILDREN (NACAC)
The NACAC is a coalition of parent support groups, adoption professionals and child advocates that believes that every child had a right to a permanent family. In addition, they are a resource for publications on Adoption, Foster Care and parenting. St. Paul, MN. Phone: 651-644-3036.

WISCONSIN ADOPTION INFORMATION CENTER
This is a state-funded service providing information about adoption to adoptive families, birth parents, professionals and the general public. Phone: 414-475-0596.

WISCONSIN CLEARINGHOUSE FOR PREVENTION RESOURCES
Through this site you can locate "Multicultural Programs in Wisconsin," along with educational materials, prevention services, and information to help build healthy families, and promote resiliency. Located in Madison. Phone: 800-248-9244.

This association is a resource for adoptive families and foster parents requiring assistance locating a dentist who will accept Medical Assistance. Phone: 800-364-7646.

WISCONSIN FAMILY TIES
Wisconsin Family Ties is a statewide not-for-profit organization run by families for families that include children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders.
