Northern Region Family Picnic:
Come join other families up north for a fun afternoon picnic full of games, activities, swimming, and food.Dinner will be at 5:00 pm. Hotdogs will be provided, please bring a dish to share.

The park has a playground and a public beach on Boom Lake. From 3-5 pm, feel free to swim or play games and win prizes!

Come enjoy a great weekend out with your family and meet other's who have grown their families through adoption.

Want to Join us? Here's How:

*Make your campsite reservation with Lake Wissota State Park. Planned activities will take place on Saturday.

*Consider "hosting" an activity during the weekend.

*Get ready to Camp! You are on your own for food with the exception of lunch on Saturday when we will provide hotdogs, drinks, and utensils. Just bring a dish/snack/dessert to share.

Register now for the 2nd annual Friends of adoption Journey of a Lifetime conference!

Nationally known transracial adoption speaker Robert O'Connor will be there to share his knowledge along with his own personal story of adoption and growing up in a transracial adoptive family. He truely has a remarkable story to share, one you don't want to miss.

The morning session will focus on: Advanced Topics in Transracial Adoption followed by lunch.
The afternoon will be "From Their Perspective" A panel of transracial adoptive parents and adoptees share their stories and ideas on living a multicultural/multiracial life. This panel will be facilatated by Speaker Robert O'Connor also.

The cost of this event is: $25 an individual, $40 a couple and $30 for a professional.
